S.A., S.A.R.L., GmbH, AG, Ltd., PLC. should these terms be translated or glossed, with explanations given in brackets after they are first mentioned in the text? The customer's specifications can be as important as our translators' and proofreaders' experience in these cases. Likewise, accounting terminology can vary from one country and even different accounting standards may be used.
